Was approached with a little problem... and that problem was to make a little box or some type of enclosure for a very tiny servo. So I did a quick search for example of such boxes on the good old internet and saw several examples. Now that I had more or less an idea of what other people had made, I went to BoxMaker's website.
With the help of BoxMaker, I measured my tiny servo and enter that information and got a nice pdf file. Thank you BoxMaker. I recommend this site. It's easy to use. I downloaded the pdf file and brought into inkscape and did my magic...and off to the laser cutter it went... I used birch wood and the result is photographed here..
Now this tiny servo has it's own enclosure thus making it easier to mount and move around when working with it. Problem solved.

Transit Coaster one City at a time...
While going through an junk drawer I found some transit tokens. I remember using these on the CTA -- don't confuse them with a dime! And I thought: What a great idea for a coaster. So, here they are.
I've hunted down high resolution images of various transit tokens. Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, New York City, and more to come.
These images are carefully edited to improve their contrast, then burned into solid acrylic. To prevent your coaster from slipping and causing water damage, each has a cork bottom.
Proudly display your home town! Remember being crowded into the El! Curse the bunched up buses!
Sold in set of 4 coasters. The coasters are 3.5 inches across, big enough for a coffee cup.
USPS Priority Mail shipping is included.
Want a city I don't have? Let me know and I'll be happy to add it. Interested in mixing colors?
Let me know. I'm happy to get you the perfect set of coasters.

Felting - Under the Ivy Kate Bush Doll
Working on my latest felting project which is to recreate my original Kate Bush - Under the Ivy Doll.
Ron Nelson introduced me to Kate Bush. I love her. So when the time came to give Ron a gift, I didn’t know what to get him so I made him a Kate Bush Doll. It’s unique doll.
I showed her off for the first time during E.A.S.T. Lots of interest thus encouraging me to make a second Under the Ivy Kate Bush Doll. It’s gonna be awhile before she’s complete… the original Doll took me two weeks to make.
